The Anthropology Department
offers the BA or
BS degrees

minors in anthropology, archaeology
or geography.

It's a staggering thought-the pizza cartons we leave behind today could be important clues to our cultural identity sometime in the distant future.  And the sleuths who will decipher such clues will be the anthropologists.

Anthropologists study humankind - our societies, customs, the lands we occupy or leave, cultures, physical evolution, languages and more.  Anthropologists are time travelers, too, living among present-day communities or digging through remnants of ancient civilizations.

Anthropology is a department within the College of Arts and Sciences, the University's oldest academic unit.
